State of the Art Facility

Doc's Deer Scents introduces not only by far the largest Urine Scent Collection/Manufacturing Facility in the world today, but also more importantly the most technologically advanced "state of the art" urine production facility ever constructed!! No expense was spared in the special designs of this powerful facility. Doc's Deer Scent Facilities has a carrying capacity of over 200 deer per day! Designs and advancements in recently discovered technologies put our facility more than 15 years advanced to our closest competitors.

 

Doc's modern facility uses space age straining and filtering devices coupled with the fact urines never leave refrigerated temperatures until minutes before it goes through bottling. Procedures are done with the room slightly higher in temperature and immediately placed right back into one of our two giant walk-in coolers. Our first cooler is 8ft high 10ft wide and 50ft long, and the second being slightly smaller at 8ft high 8ft wide and 26ft long!

The first step we took was to put our powerful new facility in its own well-water system with triple charcoal filtered water to remove those chemicals that come from city and unpurified water! This way when we sanitize our stalls it's with purified water, but we still didn't stop there! We also heat the water up to boiling/steaming temperatures so we don't have to use chemicals to clean, (as is the common practice by other urine collectors), here at Doc's Deer Scents! We can kill all bacteria's and viruses with heated purified water alone, keeping total control and integrity of urine "Doc's" way, absolutely 100% pure and fresh!!

 

The second step we improved dramatically was installing a special device that lets us clean the stalls throughout the day from underneath the floor without us ever entering and contaminating the stalls and urine!! Because most of the scent companies today don't even own their own deer herd, they broker it across the country from many different collectors. They purchase it at the cheapest price they can find, and in many instances, it's months or years until it sees the inside of the bottle. Just think about that for a minute. Urine, as with all animal secretion, is packed full of bacteria, good and bad! PH Levels are vital to the life of urines. Excessively heating or freezing destroys the shelf life quickly and changes dramatically the natural chemical consistency. Scent Manufactures are constantly looking for ways to keep urine/scents longer by using preservatives and heating or freezing them to get them to carry-over from one year to the next so once their sold they walk away! Not here, we at Doc's know there is only one way to truly get and keep your urine/scents pure and fresh is to start fresh every year, which is exactly what we do! We at Doc's Deer Scents are more concerned about urines/scents before it hits the inside of our bottles, so we don't have to play games after the bottles filled.

The plain fact of the matter is the very hardest thing in the scent business today is keeping these urines absolutely as pure and fresh as possible. Doc's starts mid August and are done bottling for the season in January. No amount of chemicals, freezing, heating, or any other harmful ways are or ever will be as effective as Doc's way! Because Doc's has its own modern technology packed collection facility we can bottle and seal our urines at our own facility, literally minutes after the collection is done! As part of the "state of the art" facility we applied special mirror grade U.S. stainless steel on a refrigerated floor with special air filtration/air dehumidifiers, further controlling many bacteria's that cause urines to break down rapidly and significantly reduces stress in our deer herd.

 

Our deer here at Doc's are maintained on specially designed elevated flooring that keeps our deer from walking in fecal matter further destroying the natural message with each urine sample. Doc's Deer Scents brand new facility is so advanced we can actually monitor bacteria levels to certify levels of harmful bacteria's, but best of all Doc's will be the first Scent Company ever to be able to certify our Extreme Heat Urine® (doe-in-heat) is just that. We test our Does first. Most, so called, scent manufacturers don't even have their own deer herds! Our question is, as yours should be: If you don't have your own deer herd how can you Guarantee anything?! Up until now urine manufacturers just said, "trust us" we think it is." NO MORE!

 

Collecting on concrete floors is now a thing of the distant past! Imagine (if you can) if milk farmers were allowed to collect on concrete at room temperatures with no stainless steel plumbing what the milk would look and smell like! Urines are just as intricate or even more difficult to handle properly!

 

Animal by-products are extremely volatile when it comes to improper handling of it!! As you know concrete is very porous in nature, which causes urine to absorb right into it. If collection process is combined with concrete at room temperature it magnifies bacteria many times over. Thus by absorbing destructive bacteria the concrete causes the destruction of the quality and purity of the urine. As almost all so-called collection facilities are upheld, but not here at Doc's Deer Scents, we go to all extremes to maintain the purity levels and keep our urines the freshest this industry has ever witnessed before.

 

Because the facility was designed to specialize in purity and extreme freshness, our urines go straight from the highest quality U.S. stainless steel available (with refrigeration built into the flooring) into the walk-in storage facility with our own lab connected to that where we test and constantly monitor our urines as quickly as it leaves the deer. Therefore the urine will never leave cool temperatures and will never be heated or frozen as freezing causes separation, shortening shelf life, and over all quality.

 

Another immense part of the facility features a built-in elevated viewing area with one-way mirrors so we can monitor our deer behavior, as they will not be able to detect human presence. We also pipe in natural sounds such as birds chirping, crickets and frog noises to simulate nature at its finest to eliminate any possible stress.
